Tragic Hotness of Pirates by Lin

Black Sails Has Arrived!

My book has arrived on my doorstep.
I opened it up, saw my name, saw my story in print and read my bio:

Michelle Klein has been making up stories ever since she convinced her
parents that her brother ate the missing ice cream. Her short fiction can be sampled at Brainradio.com. Michelle would like to dedicate this story to Star C. Foster, who loved pirates as much as she does.

So Star's name is in print in an anthology of pirate fiction.
Not the way she would have wanted it most, but her name is in there nonetheless.

Want to read the book?

Buy it here.

I'm going to read it myself so I can enjoy the other contributors' tales as well as being delighted that my own is in there.

Rock on Shelle!!!
Thank you!!!
Luv I am going to buy the book now when the site is back up. I am soooo excited for you:)
Thank you! I think you'll like the story.
Hooray!
Thank you!
Thank you for thinking of Star. I think she would kick your ass for it, so I think it's perfect.
I think about Star a lot.
Thanks for saying something. :)
You and me both, hon.

And congratulations. A publishing well beyond deserved.
Congrats kiddo. I don't claim to have known Star very well, but this seems delightfully appropriate.

Going to have to order that one myself I think...
I think I can convince the author to sign it for you. :)

Also, you will be somewhat familiar with the story.
Just ordered my copy. Now I am gonna have to visit you to get it signed.

you rock Miss Writer.
Eeee!
Thank you again for never failing to inspire me, encourage me, and kick my ass when it needed kicking.

And I would love a visit from you. I'll even lay off the Pittsburgh jokes. :)
wow, you really do want a visit if you are willing to lay of off the Pittsburgh jokes!
I haven't checked in on you in forever, I fear. Congratulations on the print, Shelle. I hope things are still progressing well, and it looks like they are.
Thank you! Things are going very well in my world. The icon is a semi-recent picture of Archer, btw. Isn't he enormous?

How are you?
Sorry it took so long to respond, hon... we're getting ready for a little week-long vacation to Florida. Things are going well... the kids are driving us nuts, we're still engaged in our little dance of death with our own finances, and work progresses.

And yes, Archer is starting to look so grown up it's scary. *chuckles*
